    Co-owned and operated by former sous-chef for vegan ZenKitchen, West de Castro, this place serves meat and veg-friendly dishes at reasonable prices for high-quality local food.

    Clover takes pride in sourcing from local and ethical producers. They also serve several local craft brews and Ontario wines. Menu items change but always feature very nice vegan options.

      Now this place is impressive! I work in this end of town so I try to bring my colleagues out here for lunch every once in a while.

      They have a really really great eggplant sandwich that I like to get. Perfect mid-day energizer to keep me filled and going for the rest of the day. And Clover almost always buys from local farms so I’m sure the eggplant is about as fresh and local as possible! Will surely be back many more times……

      Great place if you’re looking for some healthy food downtown. Kinda small inside and super busy since it’s so popular.

      I was with a group of six that stopped here for lunch on a walk through town seeking veg-friendly eats. I was thrilled to see that they had so many options that could accommodate vegans and vegetarians. Hurray, I was not going hungry or disappointed today!!

      It’s a small place with the design being that unfinished hipster-type minimalist feel. Not really my cup of tea, but I was there to eat not live, so who really cares.

      Service was really great. Water filled promptly, orders taken quickly, suggestions given when asked. Super friendly. Good stuff, Clover.

      I ordered the pressed sandwich with a soup as a side. The sandwich was tofu, pickled onions, arugula pesto on a roll and pressed panini style. Soup of the day was a Moroccan squash with marinated lentils. I could not turn down that soup. It sounded amazing and did NOT disappoint. They also have a selection of locally produced (Culture) kombucha and I ordered the cranberry orange spice – so good, like Christmas on the palate. I was surprised how filling this meal was. I had maybe three bites left and I honestly couldn’t just eat it.
